America and the Illusion of Democracy

"IF" the political system were practiced the way it was originally designed and intended, this country would be THE model of Democracy and decent living worldwide, but because America has been and is run by the bankers and Federal Reserve, America is nothing more than an illusion of who we THINK we are. I see now that there is no such thing as Democracy. The Federal Reserve is the motor that turns the wheel, and they created the failure of Democracy by design. They are the perpetrators of inflation and deflation, population control, wars for THEIR wealth and power, control of the housing market, auto industry, banking, and they use the media to make us fear our neighbors from abroad, thus the reasons why Democracy no longer exists.

The Federal Reserve is like the symbolic controlling neurotic parent who says to their capable child(ren), " Sure you can go outside and play, but YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to leave the yard," fearing their child might learn that there is more to life than just their immediate mentally disturbed surroundings.

Yes, it is true we can each cast our individual votes in this country, but THE ESTABLISHMENT only allows us THEIR two choices for each office from which we are to choose, and that does not constitute Democracy. It's like going to an ice cream parlor with chocolate fudge swirl on your mind, but the menu only offers sherbert and vanilla. I'm looking for a leader who can be responsible, honors serving the people, and is fair and just. Someone unlike those who are selected by the elite. But then again I love the human race, so I guess I am guilty of being a dreamer.

Those who control do not love - That's why they control. Any intelligent and caring person knows to love is to "let people be." It is impossible to love and lead aggressively in our world. To lead you need a powerful military to fight back dissenters, rich friends, thugs to carry out nasty task, control over the press and media, and one must be able to lie while providing a great smile for the masses. I ask, what human of peace and love would have such an interest in a position that is not so genuine?

When I went to the ballot box, I don't recall voting for the invasion of Iraq. I have nothing against Iraqi's, Afghans, and/or Iranians. I know nothing about any of them except what I am told by the elite controlled media. THEY broadcast daily why I should "hate" or dislike these people, and then once, our public is convinced of their inferiority to us, we invade, control, and even murder "those hideous people."

Too, I never voted to send more troops to Afghanistan. I never voted for car company bailouts. I didn't create the housing market crash, global warming, or terrorism. Yet, like everyone else, I have to listen to this crap on television daily like I should care! What is the truth anymore?

This winter the Government frantically insisted,( and in some states made it law), for people to get the H1N1 flu shots for the swine flu "epidemic," yet I don't know of one person in my area who had it. As it turns out Barack O'Bama had stocks in Baxter International, a company that was a leader in developing a vaccine against the virus, thus possibly the false cries of an "EPIDEMIC!"

Twenty years ago they told us AIDS was going to wipe out 1/3 of the planet's population by 2010. Why? Because some people stand to reap great profits via manipulation of public fear and panic. Thirty five years ago they also told us that lotteries would help relieve our tax burdens, yet here we are years later with more lotteries and instant tickets than I can count on my hands and toes, yet sales tax went from 5% to 6 1/4%. I hope people are getting wiser and more intelligent to these types of psychological propaganda.

"I'm sick to death of hearing things by neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians. All I want is the truth. Just gimme some truth." John Lennon - "Just Gimme Some Truth."

THE people who are most responsible for our country's neurosis are the same ones who allowed OUR companies to merge and destroy the "little guy", and in the end THEY said, while waving goodbye, "Thank you very much Americans for making us the powerhouse companies that we are today, but it's time now for us to go to another country for cheap labor and no insurance cost, so our stocks will rise and those of us at the top will become even richer," leaving the rest of us jobless with mortgages/rent, overpriced food/gas, and car/student loans to pay.

"We the people," from those in the White house who wish to do right, right on down to the average Joe on the streets are powerless children of the elite. Try and stop them, and you end up with a bullet in your head like the Kennedy's. The "secret society" rules, and all else makes only for gossip and misguided finger pointing for the rest of us. Still many senselessly debate about the political system and it's players, who are merely "groomed and controlled." Never do we dare speak out against the real hoodlums – the elite – who hold our government (WE THE PEOPLE) at "gunpoint."

Voting for Presidents, Congresspeople, and Senators has become a joke. Many people still actually believe our votes make a difference when the truth of the matter is politics and politicians are nothing more than a smokescreen for those who really control things behind the scenes.

Similar to the movie The Truman Show, the American people have been victimized by a continuous soap opera of "leaders" who are no more than mere actors working diligently to keep the "star" (The American people) from knowing their true identity. It's all about them keeping us in the dark via lies and fear, and please forgive any among us, as did main character Truman, if we get curious enough to question things.

Why do people like Martin Luther King, JFK, RK, Michael Jackson, and John Lennon get harassed or murdered? Probably because they truly cared and loved the human race enough to speak out against the injustices of the Illuminati. For 17 years the CIA kept tabs on Jackson because he spoke out against the elite and its crookedness, the evils in the music industry, and in retaliation they created child molestation scandals against him. Nixon had Lennon followed, and his house bugged, because John wrote the "threatening" mantra "Give Peace A Chance" during wartime. JFK, RK, and MLK were assassinated because they believed in justice and human rights. Who are these people we vote for who destroy that which is of value to us? Since the attempt on Reagan there has been no shots fired at our leaders?  Is it because they have all nicely conformed to the Illuminati rules of the game?   O'bama is safe as long as he goes along for the ride, but what if he made a move to uncover the evil?  A dead man maybe?

There would be no terrorism in America if not for the policies our leaders insist upon that interfere with other nations. There is no man-made global warming. Global warming is a fear tactic used to spend money we don't have so as to tax us even more and keep us down. Then there's the "stimulus packages" that are borrowed from the Federal Reserve and must be paid back with interest. Such ideas only set the stage for future national hardship. How will our children ever be able to pay these loans back? They can't!   We are an Oligarchy. Rich and poor. No more middle class.

More innocent women and children get killed every day in places like Iraq than do terrorist, but no one cares because it's the Middle East, and what American cares about people so "backwards" as they are. I guess as long as we have John Wayne, American Idol, Superman, Elvis, the Super Bowl, Michael Jordan, the Emmy's, and such, it allows us the right to invade and kill those who are "slower and far behind us" to our thinking. It's our "paper roses" love of hero's like Rocky, Scar Face, and Taxi Driver that make us Americans delusional of our superiority. We believe in theater so much that these days our politicians use the same kind of advertising in which to sell themselves just as Hollywood does their hero's.  Now it's routine to see Generals, golf stars, and basketball players, go public with their apologies.

"Paper roses. Paper roses. Oh how real those roses seem to be. But their only – imitation – like your imitation love for me." Kitty Wells

Every so often we may hear about a terrorist(s) that was caught, shot, or killed, but every day a child somewhere in America gets caught in the crossfire of drug dealers and other forms of violence. Yet there aren't an additional 30,000 troops deployed on our city streets for those reasons? Is it that maybe the seized taxpayer money serves a better purpose in fighting "paper enemies," so we can be kept poor, directionless, and living in constant fear?

Fortunately however, being an American means I know in the end it will all work out. I know John Wayne will provide me with the usual macho pride I need to feel something - anything. He'll do the usual ride into town to kick some ass on one station, while simultaneously TBS may be showing Sylvester Stallone as my hope that the "little guy" will rise up and win the battle against the champ (Elite) on their station.  Ah, the ignorant bliss of sitting on a sofa in an America home.

Voting in America is about as useful as if those in hell were allowed to vote for a new leader. Metaphorically speaking, if those in hell were given a right to vote for a different soul, be assured Satan would only allow them HIS two picks from which to choose. Those in the highest of positions are untouchable because they make the rules and have the power to break them, while the rest of us concern ourselves more with the actions, gossip, and drama of those subordinates who are not leaders, but "act" as though they are. We forget that they are only performers and nothing more. The producers (Elite) are the ones who hold the power of the show's success - a success only THEY enjoy!

Kenny, I once said to my husband that Alan Greenspan was the most powerful person in the world (back when he was Fed chairman) and that he had NO checks and balances - he sneezed and the world took a nose dive... you and I don't agree on everything but on this we can definitely agree. Insightful piece well written!

Whether we agree or not on some things is irrelevant Marijo. What matters most is that we question and debate like two humans who believe in Democracy should do. At times I want to choke you. At other times I want to love you like a sister. On this subject we are clearly in sinc.   XOXO

Spot-on article. John never got the truth, and I don't think we will either. People have been trying to "fix" democracy ever since it's inception. and it seems to have only made it worse. It's like- too many cooks spoil the soup. Well, it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.-- Always- Ella

Yes Ella, it is a dirty job.

What we need are more people with the guts to step up. You are obviously one of those people. Thank you!

I believe a lot of what you say is true. However, if I thought about it long enough, I'd probably want to blow my brains out! America certainly isn't perfect, but it's probably the best country the planet has to offer.

It's much worse than one can rant.

We have no rights and freedoms; think back to when Japanese American citizens lost their homes and businesses and properties and were rounded up and were put in detention camps with no hearings or show causes or trials.

And these were American Citizens.

If you can remember that then you can remember that we have no rights, only privileges that can be taken away.

Excellent Kenny. I wish you were running for office.

The late historian Howard Zinn wrote a wonderful book about how the American people have been led to believe they have a say when their influence really is minimal. The myth is what counts.
I could talk about that, but I have one personal story. I interviewed a guy running for president named Smith. He ran on the platform of Mr Smith Goes to Washington, meaning that any decent, honest person could run (he was a physical therapist).
However, at the Democratic National Convention, he was denied a chance to speak because he wasn't famous, and when he tried to reach the speaker's podium, he was hustled off and locked in a closet.
He was going to sue over it, but didn't. True story.
Mr. Smith didn't go to Washington.

Great story John, and thanks for sharing. People see only what they want to see when they "believe" in a system.
